"Serving as an OSTP Student Volunteer provides an opportunity to experience science and technology policy firsthand while working closely with senior policymakers on a variety of tasks and projects.... Student Volunteers are accepted for one of three annual terms (Spring, Summer, or Fall), each lasting no more than 90 days. These positions are without compensation; however, you may be eligible to receive academic credit from your college or university."

Details are available at: http://www.whitehouse.gov/administration/eop/ostp/about/student
